Glyphosate. Not a familiar word? Try RoundUp…ahh…that’s a familiar one. Well glyphosate is the ingredient in RoundUp, the weed killer found in genetically modified foods (GMOs) that is used to spray farm crops that are not organic. But it’s not just there…RoundUp is used in your neighbors’ yards, in parks, golf courses, and other public areas.
If you eat packaged non-organic foods that include soy, sugar, corn, wheat, or canola, you’re essentially eating RoundUp.
A new study from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology reveals the devastating effects of glyphosate exposure. Glyphosate inhibits an enzyme that helps us detox. When glyphosate negates the action of this enzyme, food chemicals and environmental toxins become more active in our bodies.
Here’s a quote from the study:
“Negative impact on the body is insidious and manifests slowly over time as inflammation damages cellular systems throughout the body.”
Researchers believe ingesting glyphosate plays a role in gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
Enough said…the rest, my Friends, is up to you. In the interest of promoting long term health for you and your family, you have the choice to avoid these kinds of products. Remember…it’s not about seeing immediate results…it’s about taking charge of your wellness.
Do share these important findings with everyone you know. It’s a blessing to be able to help one another.
Until next time…stay healthy, think peace, be love and see love in everyone!
